Nurturing the plan brings results!

For years I have been in awe of beautiful homes. I use to drive around in different neighborhoods looking at the gorgeous creations, hoping and praying that one day I could live in one or even sell homes one day. That was my goal and it was deferred for a bit because I had a family to raise but as my children got older I started sitting down and brain storming. Thinking of the next steps I wanted to take in my life and I decided that I wanted to become a Realtor.

I was working a full time schedule approximately 55-60 hrs per week and was exhausted, but I decided that was an excuse to defer my goal even further and I was no going to have it. I was going to stay true to myself and make this happen for ME. I enrolled at Trident Tech for Realtor Training and although I was exhausted and sometimes felt defeated I pushed through. There was many late nights I had to study because I was still working all these crazy hours. I sometimes waited until after class to partner with my instructor to get clarity on some questions I had and I was able to complete the course in a few months. That was a BIG WIN for me. I felt so accomplished and proud of myself!

The next steps in the goal was the state testing and that kicked my butt seriously. It took a few times but I kept focused and I did it! I passed the test and was given a great opportunity with Dream Realty LLC. I was blessed to sell my very first home February 2021, and everything was coming together and I was so happy. I am still very interested in selling homes and now I'm in a position where I can dedicate more time to it than before.

The moral of all this is that you have to stay dedicated everyday to your dream and your goals. You have to nurture it and make time to invest in making it a reality regardless of your time restraints. I hope this helps to motivate YOU to start making your list and carving out time for what is important to YOU. Don't think that I don't still have to motivate myself and work on this goal everyday because I do and sometimes I still fall short but I know that it is a continuous effort and I am dedicated to my SUCCESS!

This Life Goal Tracker has been a tremendous help to me and you can find it at Five and Below for $5.00. This has helped me carve out 10-30 min daily to dedicate to what's important to me.
